Hey Folks, This one is really wild, but make sure you read the info below before you view the video and turn up the volume if you can.
This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon. Watch the front end of the car closely as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you’ll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road….Spooky! Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen to the ad, you’ll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. A little creepy but it seems to be authentic!

I’ve just finished my second story for the Writing for Children & Teens course that I started a few months back. It’s nice to hold something in your hands that came directly from your head. Without hurting yourself, that is.

Anyway, it’s a story about a girl’s fourteenth birthday, and silence. Hence the above quote. I think the story was probably influenced by most Americans’ sense of powerlessness under the Bush administration. Then again, what isn’t?

Regardless, I like this story. A lot. I think it could be many more than 1,031 words. I guess there’s a lot to say about silence.
